Leadership is shaped as much by what sits within the margins of history as by what is formally recorded. It is found in decisions made in uncertainty, in judgements formed without complete information, and in the human dynamics that rarely enter the official account.
Our understanding of human psychology has evolved in much the same way. Many of its deepest insights emerge not from controlled conditions, but from lived experience, where behaviour is revealed in context before it is ever defined in theory.

It is in these margins that a more complete understanding begins to take form.
I specialise in the mechanics of leadership, working at the intersection of human psychology and organisational performance. My focus is on bridging the gap between empirical research and the realities of leading in high-stakes environments.
With a 25-year career spanning a distinguished British Army background and executive responsibility for multi-million-pound portfolios, I bring a dual perspective grounded in both theory and practice. Supported by strong academic credentials, I translate complex leadership and psychological concepts into clear, actionable strategic insight; offering a practical, practitioner-led approach to organisational behaviour.
